1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how GoldenTicketsApp collects, uses, and protects information when you use the iOS app, website, event tools, ticket tools, and support services.
2. Information We Collect
We may collect account information such as name, email address, user ID, login provider, and profile details. We may collect event information such as event title, description, venue, city, date, ticket tiers, prices, organizer name, photos, sales counts, and QR ticket data.
We may also collect purchase and ticket information such as ticket type, price, event ID, buyer account ID, ticket status, refund protection choice, QR payload, purchase time, and refund status.
3. Photos and Uploaded Content
If you upload event pictures, we store and display those images so people can view your event. Do not upload photos you do not have permission to use.
4. Camera and Photo Permissions
The app asks for camera access only when a planner or scanner uses the ticket scanner to validate QR codes for event entry. The app asks for photo library access only when an organizer chooses an event picture to upload for a listing.
5. Payments
Payments and payouts may be handled by third-party payment providers such as Stripe. GoldenTicketsApp may store payment-related records such as ticket price, fee amount, purchase status, and refund status, but payment card details are normally handled by the payment provider, not directly by GoldenTicketsApp.
6. Firebase and Service Providers
GoldenTicketsApp uses Firebase and Google services for authentication, database storage, file storage, hosting, and app infrastructure. These providers process information as needed to run the service securely.
7. How We Use Information
We use information to create accounts, show events, publish organizer listings, upload event photos, sell and manage tickets, generate QR codes, scan tickets, provide support, prevent fraud, troubleshoot problems, improve the service, and comply with legal obligations.
8. Sharing Information
Public event information may be shown to other users on the website and app. Ticket information may be shown to the buyer and relevant organizer or scanner for entry validation. We may share information with service providers, payment processors, hosting providers, legal authorities, or others when needed to operate the service or follow the law.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including Firebase security rules, account authentication, and limited access controls. No system is perfectly secure, so keep your account credentials private.
10. Your Choices
You may update your profile information in the app or website. You may sign out at any time. You may request help or account deletion by emailing support, and the app may include a delete account feature that removes your account and related local or Firebase data where supported.
11. Children
GoldenTicketsApp is not intended for children under 13. Some events may have age restrictions set by organizers or venues.
12. Data Retention
We keep information as long as needed to run the service, support tickets, maintain business records, prevent fraud, meet legal requirements, and resolve disputes. Some deleted information may remain in backups or logs for a limited time.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the service changes. If important changes are made, we may update the effective date or provide notice in the app, website, or by email.
